Melissa Egan's passion for painting lies in the creative process. Her subject matter and images are sourced from personal experience - the environment, music, the ordinary and obvious - vision and memories. Her landscapes are engaging and familiar, as are the whimsical figures inhabiting their enchanting surroundings.

Melissa Egan holds a Bachelor of Arts from ANU and a Diploma of Education from the Canberra College of Advanced Education. She has attended the World College of South East Asia (Singapore) and the Canberra School of Art and is represented in numerous corporate and private collections in Australia and overseas.
